Craze for Laniege

I heard about Laneige every where - beauty news, the internet, etc. Yes!! People are raving about it. As someone who loves to try out new stuff especially products that mentioned it could help achieved radiant and beautiful skin, I am flattered by the goodness of these products.

I decided to give a try. Thanks to Hermo.my. I managed to grab some samples to try them before buying a full size. Talking about saving, in case the products doesn't suits us, buying sample sizes from Hermo is definitely a right choice. They do sell full size at cheaper price as well.

If you haven't read my first post on Hermo, read it here - Hermo~I heart You

Double cleanse our skin is very important. If you did not make up but uses sunblock, you need to thoroughly cleanse as well. Please don't tell me you are not using sunblock!!! It's sounds like we are killing our skin softly!! Seriously, you may not see the effect now, but as you grew older; freckles, pigmentation, wrinkles and all sorts that we don't want will show and it will be very obvious! What I mean is you will see them much earlier!!

Introducing Laneige Super Cleanser!! I call it super la.. Haha It consists of Deep Cleansing Oil Moisture, Lip & Eye Remover Waterproof and Multi Cleanser - all in sample sizes.

If I apply a heavy make-up on certain days, Deep Cleansing Oil Moisture will be a must. It would be my first cleanse and follow with my favourite Foam Cleanser.

I love to put mascara on my lashes and eyebrows; lipsticks and gloss on the lips too. The Lip & Eye Remover Waterproof came in handy for such delicate area. If you love to apply lipsticks, don't forget your lippie.

Kisses to the Multi Cleanser. When I apply only sunblocks or very minimal make-up, I just use Multi Cleanser. It's actually faster cause we don't need to slowly cleanse using cotton pad. Just wash our face like how we do with our normal cleanser.

Check this out - Instructions and it's available at Hermo website. It actually shows steps on how to use the products. This is very helpful especially when the products doesn't have any explanation in  English or Mandarin.

Super loved my Foam Cleanser Moisture! This is specially for combination to dry skin. I am currently using this as my second cleanser after removing my make-up. It won't stripped off the moist from my skin after cleansing. It gave me a fresh and supple skin. I bought the full size for this - 180ml for only RM 59. It's just worth it. Well, you knew the market price if you use Laneige. ^_^ How not to shop with Hermo??

Coincidence, it's in pink packaging!! My favourite!!

Check out on how to use them. It's just so easy!! :-)

This set is the Water Supreme Make Up Gift 3. It comes with a Primer Base, Foundation and a Lip Gloss. Personally love the Primer Base - No.60 Light Green. It really does help to refines the surface of the skin and fills it with suppleness and plumpness of moisture coating to prepare skin for make-up. This primer base is super moist and it retains moisture all day long.

The Water Supreme Foundation No.21 Natural Beige, shall be next to use after the primer base. It has a watery light texture that eliminates the infamous heavy and sticky texture of foundation and quickly spreads on the skin with a refreshing feeling. That's what we ladies are looking for - ensure we shine with moisture and not oil. What important to me is that, it also hold in moisture and leave my skin supple, free of dryness, all day long. It is much more lighter than any other foundation and feels as comfortable as our natural skin.

For easy reference, check out the usage table from Hermo.

Put on my other make-up and gently apply Snow Crystal Pure Lip Gloss LR 09 and I am ready for a date! Haha

It's look very pinkish but when I applied on my lips, it looks very natural.

Final look with my Laneige trial packs from Hermo. If we love make-up, we must know how to remove them as well. Pretty ladies are not those lazy ones!! Haha

Go try Laneige today!! I am pretty sure most of you gonna love them!!

Till then, have a blessed week ahead!! God Bless ^_^

May His comfort be upon the affected families and people. May the damage control and recovery on all works be done soon. May God continue to protect us where ever we are and His mercy will be upon us always!! AMEN!!

What's this SANDWHICH?? It is a new found place for salads and healthy bread. As usual, Penang will never failed us with new place or restaurants. I am glad that I am a Penangite!! Haha...

Located at I-Avenue which is near Bayan Lepas area, I am willing to be at that area for  eatery during weekdays only. Too far to travel on weekend. I am just lazy to drive!! :p

We actually had a farewell lunch for Wen Sher. She is leaving Penang, leaving the company and saying Goodbye to us................ for good. LOL.. OK la... We are actually happy for you but why you leave us here... Should bring us together what!! Don't care... You must remember to bring us along. Tag in your luggage also ok!! LOL...

Let's talk about what we did and had the other day :-)

This attention grabbing area - I directly walked into this area instead of the bread itself. =="

Couldn't remember who first started ordering the bread but at least we did and we continued with selca time. LOL!!!

While waiting for the food to be served... First selca with the VIP of the day... Wen Sher

Then the rest joined in for picture together. This is Mun Nee and Wen Sher. The environment is actually nice. We are the only group who were there when we had this selca moment. We actually put everything on the table - purse, glasses, keys!!! How  ignorant we  are towards the surrounding T___________T  Anyway, we are thankful every thing is safe..

With Li Huey... This picture has some "smoky" effect. Thanks to Mun Nee la.. Really don't understand how this could happened. Few pictures from her phone actually had this effect.

Hahahhaa!!!

That's us together!! Look how our minds can talk!! We were dressed in yellow and green!! A seldom will happen coincident colours!! Anyway, smoky effect again.... LOL...

Food time... I feel hungry looking at this croissant tuna bread... Looks tempting but actually a little hard to eat. I prefer that they were wrapped with sandwich paper.

This is wholemeal tuna sandwich ordered by Li Huey.

I ordered this Pork Croissant. Mine were wrapped in sandwich paper.  Yumilicious!!

By ordering side meals, it comes with potato salad and a drink of your choice - healthy yogurt drinks.

Acting silly here... Haha

Thanks Wen Sher for spending her precious time with us. She is just so busy that we had to rescheduled this date. But we know she will definitely spend a time for us MPT.

I goggled this poem and find it so meaningful and decided to share

Goodbye My Dearest Friend

© Leilani Hermosa Petersen

The hardest part of any friendship
is when it is time to say goodbye,
and even though we wished we could make you stay,
We know we got to let you spread your wings and fly.

For life is a journey that needs to be travelled
and we am certain you'd make it through,
We just want you to know and never forget
that we will surely miss you.

So follow your heart and never give up,
as dreams and wishes do come true,
for we know that someday we'll meet again,
so never forget we will be praying for you.

Got touch or not? LOLOL.... Anyway, taking this time to wish you all the best in your future endeavour. Don't forget us here!!!

Lots of love,

MPT ^_^

台湾点点滴滴 PART 1 ~ 台中~清境

This is one of many of the vacation I really love.  Even though, it has been three years since this vacation, I decide to blog about it.. (Has not start blogging back then)

I got the ticket (its my birthday present) from my buddies. Could feel so much loved when I got to know about this. This is how it goes. I was suppose to get the tickets on my own during the Air Asia Zero Fare back in 2009.

My friend asked me and told me she would help me to book the tickets. So I agreed with the condition, it shall be less than a certain amount we agreed. Otherwise, it will be a No-Go for me.

Somehow.. the conversation goes like this..

Emily  :  Ah gal, I have two news.. One is bad and one is good.. So which one you wanna
             hear first?
Me      : Hmmm... Bad news first... Let me guess? It  is not less than that amount?
            I know.. lol
Emily  :  Haha.. Ya.. But I still buy you the tickets..
Me     : Har... I thought I told you not to buy if its more?? So how much it is?
Emily: So here comes the good news... We are getting it for you as your birthday
          present!! So how's that sound?
Me    : Are you sure? Sounded so happy... Hahaha..
Emily: YES!!!!
Me    : Oh my.. You guys are so pretty!!! Love overloaded now... LOL..

That is how I manage to hop into Air Asia-X in May 2010 to Taiwan for 10 days ^_^ And yes, our tickets were usually bought one year ahead. This must thanks to Emily as she usually stay up kind of late just to get the booking. She also planned most of the itinerary. I super love Emily!!! ^-^

Being the only person who can read most (I must say all) of Mandarin during our trip, we depend on her to read signage and information. I was not that eager with learning more Mandarin that time; trust me, I am getting better these days. Haha

现在很喜欢中文了!! 我也希望有一天,我会用中文来写 博客!!

After several months of talking about it, we finally made our way there!!

Me - Back then without braces!! Really can't wait to see myself in post-braces.. LOL!!

That was my first meal upon reaching Taoyuan Airport. Need to grab something before heading to Tai Chung.

A small room for a night before we go uphill at Tai Chung.

Typical Taiwanese kind of meal - Coffee and sandwich for breakfast

On the way!! Excited!! Yay!!! Haha!!

After several hours of bus ride, we reached our home stay here!!

Back view of the house. Super nice right!!

Side view

Cosy bed room. The temperature is at 18'c. It was summer at Taiwan but since this place is uphill, it's definitely cooler. Super miss this kind of weather.

Selca with the cosy bed!! Haha

We need food before walking around... We always share our portion - you can taste variety of them. You should do that when travel around! :-)

That's the reason we were at Taichung. We went to Cing Jing Farm. Super nice place.

Amazingly green!!!

With fake sheep.. The real sheep went on MC!! Lol.. Not allowed to wonder around due to some sickness they caught back then. What a waste for us!! Hmm...

Super love the greenery and beautiful view. It was very cooling and I can hardly walk due to the super cold wind. Shivering!! I super daring wearing dress without covering my leg... =="

Anyway, we actually did lots of crazy stuff on the grass. We ran, jumped, turned and even twisted and rolled on the super clean grass (we assume la.. LOL)

This is the first time trying fresh goat's milk. I dare not take mutton but milk still okay for me. I heard it is actually healthier than cow's milk.

Milk Milk Love!! Haha

It was cool and we still eat Milk Ice-Cream. Who said cold weather cannot eat ice cream? LOL

This peaches were super sweet. Every time if you go to cooler place, it is a must to try those fruits as they will definitely be sweeter. Yummy max!!

Both of us love Lavender a lot - almost anything can be lavender. We don't mind. We came across this shop that sells everything on Lavender. Definitely a place we do not want to miss that time!

The beautifully written board at Lavender Shop

We bought one for each of us. It cost only TWD 50. Super worth it!! And its still with me until today!

Guess what's this? You can actually send a postcard back home. We bought one postcard each and send it back to ourselves. Haha!! Can't really recall friends home address.

Selca post with my chosen postcard (in case it didn't reached me) No la.. It never happened. I received it after I came back to Penang! LOL

Thanks to Emily. That's a very nice collage she made.

Checking the pictures I took...

It's getting late and we need to capture this moment before we see nothing. That's the CITY Cafe we planned to go after our Lavender Shop during the night. Saw 7-Eleven! It was actually raining that night - making the weather cooler.. We went hunting for special food and drink just to try them! After all, you can't get the same thing back home.

So many choices!!! It was raining on the second night at Cing Jing but nothing can stop us from walking unless.... Don't know what can actually stop us!! Haha

You definitely couldn't get those juices here. Taste good to me!

It's dinner time and we were helping the host. The place was good as they actually prepare meal for us. Was not suppose to have dinner but only breakfast. The Taiwanese people were too hospitable that they invited us for dinner together. So much of love and blessing!!

Us with the host - They are both husband and wife! They actually had a plantation at Cing Jing and they hired workers. Eventually, the workers eat with us too. Like a big family!!

They cooked us very simple meal but it tasted good.

I don't take mutton so I skipped this one. But Emily said very nice..

I don't know what's this vege called but I think we can get it in Malaysia.

They served us Peach Wine - they actually brew it locally and smells great. I don't like the taste though.. :p

After dinner, we had a Karaoke session, sharing about life of Malaysia and Taiwan. It was   such a memorable moment learning and understanding about their lives and cultures! Even though we were all the same Chinese, definitely something different we could share about. Haha

When the mood began... They started dancing... Haha...

We also learned to dance!! Hahahah

The night was just so fun. We hope it never end! But we know we have to stop and continue our next journey exploring other place of Taiwan. Since it was just so late, the host asked us to sleep longer that night and head down hill later. Aunty said she shall cook us breakfast. So blessed!! We missed you lots!! :-(

P.S. Pictures credits to Emily
