Ballet Beautiful

Do you exercise? Workout? Sweat a bit? Wish to have lean and toned muscles so that you would look great in any dresses you put them on?

I am not sure with you but I really want those pretty toned, feminine figure!! In fact, exercise is important to keep and maintain our body at a healthy weight.

Sometimes I feel guilty of indulging too much, pretend to forget those calories intake and continue to sit in front of the computer after every meal - look at those bulging tummy and fats accumulated! =="

I used to dance a lot, sweat and feel good after that. Thanks to the release of endorphins.  Lately, I have been lazy for a bit and I told myself in order to maintain those lean body, it is time to move my butt and do something!

Image from Google
This is cute but sorry not really nice figure! LOL

I googled for some ballet-inspired workout because  I missed those strong yet graceful physique ever since I stopped ballet. I then found Mary Helen Bowers of Ballet Beautiful.

She is a professional ballerina and celebrity fitness guru who mixes the athleticism and grace of classical ballet with exercises and stretches that sculpt a dancer's toned, lean physique.

I got to know this from her website that she personally trained Natalie Portman for her Academy Award-winning role in Black Swan. I also want le.. She is so graceful!!

From Mary Helen Bowers Instagram. Follow her @balletbeautiful <3
My ballet teacher used to say to me that I have nice arabesque especially the one with one leg in plie :-D Dont think mine is as good as her.. (She's a professional) not sure if I can still do it now, but I wanna have them back! At least, whenever we are performing, we have the stamina and strength!!

Go check her YouTube. You can do this at your own pace - when watching tv or anytime.By spending some time for this simple workout, you gonna be pleased with the outcome soon :-D

Simply Irresistible

I had yogurt parfait at The Mug Shot last Tuesday. Some what rare cos I usually won't be heading to cafe especially right after work. Moreover, it's not even Friday!

It just happened because I was craving for my all time favourite 'Wan Tan Mee' He brought me to town just to taste the flavorsome noodles. Yes! It was very good indeed - the noodles and also the company! 😊

This is jackfruit with gula melaka yogurt. Yummy max 😊

On Wednesday morning, my sis made me this burger stuffed eggs with sausages.

The following morning, she made me her signature pasta 😊

The picnic meal after hiking.

The delicatessen specialist of the day is really thoughtful. He ensured the sandwiches would taste good by putting together the sandwich fillings and sealed it to keep them fresh for as long as possible. He actually creatively designed the menu several days earlier and tested them several times before he finally put everything best together for this homemade sandwiches! <3

These could be little things to some but am feeling so loved already.

If you ever prepares food, put them on my cube or even given me finger foods, coffee latte sachets or just anything edible from your travels, I love them because I know you think of me.. (only if I acknowledged them)  Hahahaha!!

Thank you to all the lovely people of my life :-D

이니스프리 innisfree

L-R: Yoona, Eco Science Wrinkle Spot Essence(Pro), It's Real Rice Mask, Eco Science Cream

Yoona came back with me! LOL! Just a complimentary Eco-Monthly Magazine from innisfree. Though they were all written in Korean, I was attracted to Yoona here and the rest of pictures in the magazine itself - So decided to get one back.. Hehe!

I have been using innisfree products for months now that I am giving thumbs up for it. The main reason I am getting more of innisfree products is because it pursue an eco-friendly green life to preserve the balance of nature. The researchers made them all with natural ingredients, not forgetting their eco-friendly containers; aside from loving the environment, our skin is feeling loved too!

Eco-Science Wrinkle Spot Essence Pro

The sales person told me the 'Eco-Science Wrinkle Spot Essence Pro' is their best selling products for the eyes area. It can be used on laugh lines too. Of course I don't purchase this item just because of their selling point, I browsed over the Internet and found positive reviews too.

I personally like this item as the texture is just great! Not oily but still it has the moisturizing level that my eye area look moist after application. It did not cause  milia seeds or any small bumps around the eye, which I think is just great for daily use.

This wrinkle functional spot essence contains Jeju pristine marine plants and comes with a subtle vibrating tip producing 120 vibrations per second to rejuvenate fatigued skin and to treat wrinkles. The vibrating function will allow formula to absorb into skin as you gently massage around the eye area.

I am seeing reduced fine lines  but not totally gone (if that happens, I think no one will ever get old..LOL) and my eye area is not as dry as before. Major love this essence that I will purchase again. I have been using this for five months - almost twice a day. I guess it can last you up to six months or more. It cost 33,000 won; around RM 105.
Worth the money!!

My rate : 8/10

If you are going to Korea, check it out at innisfree! Sorry to say they are not available in Malaysia yet!! You could try Hermo.my. They do have some products from innisfree :-)

The eco science cream - I bought it after testing its texture at Gimpo  International Airport. This cream claimed to be a naturally derived wrinkle treatment that promotes skin vitality with marine plants from the clean and pure ocean of Jeju Island. It contains marine plants that are rich in Vitamin A and minerals to rejuvenate the aging skin and to foster self-protective power of the skin.

It contains 99.7% of natural origin ingredients with 11.2% are from organic farming. That's the reason why you see this product is certified by ECOCERT Standard.

I personally like the scent of this cream. Not too oily to my liking ( I have combination skin -oily to dry) Anyway, I don't use this cream on daily basis as I like a switch from anti-aging to hydration or whitening regime! So many things need to take care! Haha!

The only setback is I wouldn't know when this cream is going to finish as I can't see the left over with the white bottle packaging. In that case, I'll just time the duration of me using the cream.

This cream cost 28,000 won; around RM 87 and I am still using the same bottle after five months! :-)

My rate : 8/10

The Story of Eco Science that I googled from the web

Another one of my favourite - innisfree eco science white C pore double serum
This is enriched with eco-friendly tangerine peel, mint extract and green complex from pure jeju island. The eco science white C helps to clear and reveal translucently soft and tender skin. Tell me!! How not to love?? <3

A lovely friend just got this for me from Korea weeks ago. The rest of the items in the picture - the green tea mask and green tea serum is complimentary from my serum purchase. Talking about giving complimentary samples, Korean sales person is always very generous :-)

This serum is part of whitening plus pore control care. It helps to clarify skin tone and tighten pores simultaneously, leaving our skin looking bright and sleek.

I have just started using it not too long ago. Like the texture and it won't feel dry to my skin. I only used them in the morning though.. I love the scent of this tangerine mint serum <3

As for the pore tightening, I don't see significant change, probably just a bit. The bottle and its pump is not that user friendly. I need to pump the right way in order to obtain both the right amount of serum - two different passage to obtain the green and orange serum.

This cream cost 37,000 won; around RM 108. Guess its cheap compare to other brands of serum.

My rate : 7/10

This is the innisfree products I bought from Korea! Shall share more soon :-)

Till then, Bye Bye and Happy Weekend!! :-)

Korea With Love, Jeju Island Part 3

It's been a while...since my last update on Korea trip. Few friends were asking when am I going to complete sharing Korea trip since I am not posting anything much of other social network! LOLOL!! I prefer to share them in blogsphere and then reminisced those moments.

So now, here you go.. my final post on JEJU Island!!

O'Sulloc Green Tea Ice-Cream

Where ever we go and have green tea ice-cream, they obviously taste the same but having it at a different place makes the difference! Because I am having it at Jeju Island, so I must say they taste super good la!! LOL!!

Us, at the O'Sulloc Tea Museum

Moving around in our rented car! FREE WIFI is almost everywhere! One of the many reasons why I major love Korea!

The beautiful view of Jeju Island

We drove around and stop by whenever we found eye catching views.

Panorama view of Jeju Island

We had a tea-break here at 'Stay with Coffee'. May not be a coffee lover myself but the environment is worth the visit. Too bad no cute Korean boy to serve us at that time! LOL Else I will ask travel mate to stay a little longer.. :P

The super bitter coffee that turns icy cold in seconds! OKOK..Sounds exaggerating.. In minutes probably.. :P

We even went to Innisfree Jeju House to take a break from the mundane routine and enjoy nature. Super love their 'loving the environment' concept. The picture above is where we can DIY our own soaps with all natural ingredients. I didn't try them though but bought some green tea and soy latte for souvenirs and for myself too!! <3 <3 <3 AND bought lots of innisfree products!! :-D

We went here - Yongmeori Coast hoping to catch some nice view of rock formations in Jeju Island. Too bad it was high tide when we visited and we were not allowed to enter Yongmeori costline. :-(

Never mind!! We headed to feast instead! This is one of our dinner that night. Guess what??!! We had a back-to back dinner. We wanted to try the famous fresh abalone and also black pork as recommended by travel guide book and even our guest house host told us the same thing!! 真的好好吃哦!!

Had together with this fish and my favourite rice. I don't know what's this fish it's called. As long as it taste good!LOL!!

If you are heading to Jeju Island and wanted to try this restaurant, check out their phone number. You can key in this number to their GPS and it will lead you to the location. This meal were not that expensive. If I still remembered correctly, it cost three of us Won14900.

Our second dinner!!! Was a bit full at that time so we just had the famous black pork with vegetables! Just no rice..

Mouth watering meal... Thanks for making me gained 2 kgs in just 13 days!! LOL

I am not a pork lover but I still missed this.. Can you imagine how good they tasted??!!

I kept repeating I am full on that night but my mouth is still on 'Nom Nom Nom' HAHAHAH

Selfie with the food on table!! We hang out at the restaurant making friends with the restaurant owner - a couple (wife from China and hubby is a local). They were asking for information around KL as they would be coming over for some short courses learning languages. :-D

Here's the shop location!! After meal, we headed back to guest house. Need to start packing and leaving this nature ground! Going off to Seoul.

The next morning, we walked around the nearby market before returning our rented car and headed to airport.

Showing you the many free wifi available at the airport! HAHA..

Read if you haven't..

Something New...

..On my blog.. If you realized that I have a new layout! Happy :-) It has been a while since I last change it. Don't call me lazy for that because I am just bad at designs. Maybe good at photocopy over some stuff but design a new thing.. Oh, I literally need help!!

Co-dings, HTML -  你是什么来!! LOL!!

Thanks to Mr.K for the design!  He asked what's my preference and I just gave him one that I like. He told me he need some time to get this done. I was like OK,OK.. I can wait! No rush.. Take your time..But on the other end, I keep counting for the days to come! Impatient me! HAHAHAHA!!

It was not too long for the wait! He came telling me, go check your blog! I was like 'Wow! That fast!' I quickly paused at what I was doing at that time, I went browsing for the surprise! VOILA!! Love max at my new layout that I keep stroll up and down admiring my very own blog!! LOL!!

Super thankful that he agreed to help me despite being so busy. I don't know how much time he has spent to get this done, I am just overly blessed!! <3

When I get too excited over something, this is what I do - the picture on the right! LOL!! Literally dance around the house upon seeing my new layout! Hahaha!!

Mr. K, thanks for choosing the two pictures that you knew I would love to have it over at the header! And now, I am gonna wait for more of surprises over my blog from time to time ya.. Erm.. that's what i heard you said, 'Anytime the layout can be re-design' Hahaha! But not so soon, cause I still love this to bits!! :P

Blessed Chinese New Year

I super love Chinese New Year and this year is extra-ordinary exciting. Although things were routinely the same - eating like one won't gain weight and relatives visitation but still the moments were different la. It's another brand new year what!! HAHA

In my new casual attire and feeling max comfortable. I love how Korean did their make up and I tried to do their natural almost nude make-up. LOL!!

With mummy dearest on our way to grandparents place.

Ate a lot during this Chinese New Year. This is our Chinese New Year eve reunion dinner. We didn't have steamboat at home this year but we get to eat them when we were at grandparents place. Thank you "yee yee" for the scrumptious meal back at home town. I didn't take any picture there.. Too hungry lo!! LOL

Travelogue : Korea With Love, Jeju Island Part 2

Woke up at 3:00am local time, had homemade breakfast and made our way to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. Also known as 'Sunrise Peak', was formed through Hydro-volcanic eruptions. It was a volcanoes that were form by piles of volcanic ash, whereby the interaction of hot ascending magma and seawater or ground water about 5,000 years ago. This crater has a measurement of 180m tall, with a diameter of 600m and 90m high. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, Seongsan Ilchulbong looks like a gigantic crown. I sounded so pro with the explanation right? I actually googled the information. LOL!!

It was very dark when we went up the hill. Was suppose to pay for entrance fee of 2,000 Won but we went in for free as the ticketing counter is still closed. We met a few others - a Chinese couple from Shanghai and a few local Korean. Since it was so dark we barely see the steps, we walked and had some chat together.

Reached the top after 45 minutes of walk. Feeling exhausted and had to catch my breath. Haven't been on hill tracks for a while. I lost all the stamina. I look very tired as barely had enough rest the night before. Wrapped myself like a bun. The weather is superb cold but still major love ok!!

Seongsan Ilchulbong is so breathtaking! The sunrise from the crater is magnificent. Every time when I closed my eyes to reminisce my presence over this place, I can't even... I was feeling thankful being able to experience such a beautiful sight. Being able to witness with our own eyes, is was just awesome!!

The awesome view

Walking down the hill

After all the sightseeing, we were just so hungry and went looking around for food. I think it was me who bugged for food all the while. Travel mate is just normal! Why you guys don't feel as hungry as my level? That's made me gained weight after coming back from Korea. 2 kg for 11 days is shocking!!!

Anyway, it was a long journey to the restaurant for me (due to hunger) T____________T

We found you - Korean Coffee & Pizza & Beer

The menu is all in Korean (without picture) and the waitress only speaks Korean. So what do we do? Kakao Talk Ally to help? That's the best way.. And yea.. our pizza were ordered that way. Cool isn't it? LOL

Korean pizza is filled with lots of veges and nuts! Taste different back home but still good!

Had a good meal and chit-chat before we proceed for another beautiful wonders in Jeju Island.

Awww.... Nearly died seeing this!! Why you have to be so pretty!!!

This is Samgumburi Crater - another crater of an extinct volcano. This one exploded quickly as compared to the Seongsan Ilchulbong, but did not spew much lava nor did it form much of a surrounding cone. This is the only one of its kind in the country, making it the natural monument.

We can walk around the part of the rim but cannot venture down inside the crater. They have a well-paved path that leads us to the viewing area. At the park entrance are several large rocks from the crater. It was during the eruption, molten  rock flew from the volcano into the air and cooled into many exotic shapes.

Feeling extremely cold when we reached here. The hot coffee turned cold in minutes!

The other side of the view. You should visit Sangumburi Crater if you had the chance. The entrance fee is 3,000 won per adult.

Head to eMart after that. We felt a little warm and decide to take off our outer wear but Emily was super daring. She removed her legging. Salute her!! But in fact, Jeju Island is a little warmer compared to the rest of Korea cities.

Waiting for our sandwich to be served

Since we wanted to spend some time at the hostel, we went to eMart to buy some Korean snacks and tidbits. On our way, we stopped by to get some  yummy sandwiches.

We ordered Korean fried chicken and rice for dinner. We were too hungry and none of us actually took any picture of the food! Sorry couldn't share those delicious chicken we had! LOL!

Say "Annyeong" to Tamna. It belongs to the owner of the guesthouse we stayed. We were able to play with Tamna that evening before her bath time.

Tamna is kind of big in size and it likes licking and smelling. I tried not to stay too close from her as she gets real excited when she sees human. No, I am not afraid of doggie but Tamna is BIG!!! Not a toy dog ok.. T_____T

Emily loves doggie so much that she missed her "babies" back home. In fact, her babies are cuter cos not big.. LOL.. Anyway, Tamna likes to play with Emily. Thankfully, QQ and Goofy were not there. Else, jealous max! HAHA

Tamna can do stunt from the slides. It's a very clever doggie. We went to the nearby kindy where there's a playground in the school. Some of the kids were still around; so we had fun together with Tamna.

Aww... Cute kids in the house. How not to selca with them? Thanks MC for the pictures!

With the owner having some chit chat time and with Tamna after her bath time.

Gonna continue my last day at Jeju Island on the next post.  Stay tuned for more magnificent view and tempting-licious meal ^_^
