Love Came Down

If my heart is overwhelmed
And I cannot hear Your voice
I hold on to what is true
Though I cannot see

If the storms of the life they come
And the road ahead gets steep
I will lift these hands in faith
I will believe

I'll remind myself
Of all that You've done
And the life I have
Because of your son

(Chorus)
Love came down and rescued me
Love came down and set me free
I am Yours
Lord I'm forever Yours
Mountains high and valley low
I sing out and remind my soul
I am Yours
I am forever Yours

When my heart if filled with hope
Every promise comes my way
When I feel Your hands of grace
Rest upon me

Staying desperate for You, God
Staying humble at Your feet
I will lift these hands in praise
I will believe

I am Yours
I am Yours
All my days

Jesus, I am Yours
Yeah, I am yours, I'm yours, I am yours
Jesus I am yours

Decided to share this lovely song that reminds us of His promises to His children <3

Jesus Fashion

Browsing through my Facebook timeline the other day and I found out Jay Chou has accepted the Lord! I decided to blog about it...

Praise the Lord for another soul save! ^_^  There are actually numbers of singers or celebrities from Taiwan who has accepted Christ! And they had used their music talents to proclaim God's love! This is awesome! Our God is so great! AMEN!!!

Check out his video!!

This is Jay Chou's new composed piece titled "Jesus Fashion". Love it max... <3 <3 <3

This piece titled "No difference in Loving You" featuring Jay's pastor from New Life Church in Taipei. Read more on Jay Chou news on accepting Christ! Oh no.. Jay Chou is making me loving his music more now!! Lol!!

I've read that Jay will become one of the singer for "Jesus Fashion Revolution Concert". Hope that we could view it online since I guess it won't happen in Malaysia yet. Fingers crossed!!

Been through a not so smooth week but still wanna Thank God that I am still standing still because of His love for me! I am not giving up no matter what! A friend of mine shared this and I find it so encouraging that I decide to share it again. ^_^

"God often uses people in our lives to test, stretch and develop our faith. This test asks the question, "How will we handle disappointment?" Life is often disappointing when careers, marriages and even plans don't turn out the way we planned them. Only God himself can meet out needs and whatever we go through remember, This is a test!"

So I always remind myself not to give up easily! As long as there is faith, there is hope!

Also, my favourite quote from the video of Jesus Fashion

~ God's love is always here! ~ 不要忘记主的爱一只存在!~

Hope this entry would be inspirational to you. Have a blessed week ahead! ^_^

A Meaningful Trip

I haven blogged for one month plus.Sorry for not updating.. Oh ya... Happy New Year 2013!! Haha.. Anyway, this suppose to be my past post in December 2012.

I was away to Cambodia for a mission trip and vacation last two weeks. This was organized by the church to visit the villager and people in need. We are doing feeding program and celebrating Christmas with them. It was an awesome trip as we are blessing people and were blessed in return ^_^

Taken the scenery while on the way to villages
We visited eleven villages by sharing food and joy with the little children and adults that were around during our ministry time. They were so thankful with the food we have for them despite it seemed to be so plain and simple. It reminded me of how blessed I am in my home country.

Look!! Torn clothing but still enjoying themselves
The little children hardly enjoy what some other children may have. Forget about Play station, Wii, iPad, iPhone and all sorts of gadgets, they only hoped for enough food, clothing and a place to stay. Some wore very old and torn clothing that could not even be used as a rug. No panties among some toddlers, they only had a piece of very dirty dress. Hair was unruly, some even go barred footed. All was just looking for enough food for the day. This is how simple the villager can be. But I could see the joy in them. With food being served in from of the little ones, I could see how polite they are - waiting for the food to reach everyone before they start to munch their food.  They were given a plate of rice each and a sharing portion of a bowl of vegetable soup mixed with some meat. This is such a simple meal to us but they were so thankful. We also gave each a piece of French loaf, a fruit juice, a mineral water, goodies bag with lolly, marshmallow and sweets and also a pendant as a souvenir.

We gave them colouring book
Upon seeing this, I know we should learn to be thankful and contented with what we have. It made understand that I should be satisfied with what we have. I have a job that enable me to eat good, sleep comfortably, dress gorgeously, travel to see the world and much more. What else could I ask for? I may not have things that others have – there is no point to compare and feel bad about it. What for? Why not think about what you have and others don’t have? Why not think the other way round? You are getting more than the rest! Be thankful!!!  As a child of God, I am blessed and there will be more blessing to come. Praise God for blessing!! <3

Rice+Vegetables+Soup ~ This is how simple they have but so thankful for food!!
We were there for 8 days and 7 nights but mission lasted for 4 days only. Our last three nights were merely shopping and moving around Seam Reap and Phnom Penh. I manage to get some scarves for my BFFs, a floral top, a knitted top and two Abercrombie inspired baby Ts and souvenirs namely coffees and key chains to some friends who requested for it. Unbelievable isn’t it? Because I manage to even get clothing there. :-P

They waited for everyone to get food before they eat.. How polite!!
It never came to me of visiting historical places, but I know this is a must since I have travel here - visiting Angkor Watt. Walked around the aged stones to explore the uniqueness Khmer people did in the 12th century. This is just so wonderful to see it your own eyes. From there on, I believe travelling should not consist of shopping and eating alone!! What a lame statement. Ok, I will include sight seeing more...

The hotel we stayed at Phnom Penh
Pink Bed Sheet!! <3
Planning for a trip to Seam Reap or Phnom Penh, visit AirAsia.com for affordable flight tickets!! Till my next post, see ya soon!!

You are what you think you are..

I decided to share about how thoughts can influence us real much. When you think that you are nothing, you are really nothing. No one can look down on us except ourselves. We tend to have thoughts that is so negative that it could spoil our day and we ended up not doing anything productive.

I went through a very tiring week. Everything was not going smoothly and I was asking,"God, why me? Why giving me all sorts of trouble and problems to go through? There was a moment when I feel everything was just not right but I realize if I keep on letting negative thoughts wondering around my mind, things definitely not gonna be all right.

Read a tweet from @Saintly_Life saying, " Don't let negative pictures play on the movie screen of your mind. You own the remote control. All you have to do is change that channel."

It was good...

As I read on, this came again from @PrayInFaith - "Disappointment were not meant to destroy you. They were meant to strengthen you & give you fortitude to accomplish your God-given destiny.

One more - "You must stop talking about the problem and start talking about the solution.. start speaking words of victory."

Word of encouragement could be so powerful when we say at the right time and do it as we read on it. "Worrying is wasting energy on things you cant control . Leave everything in God's hand. Think less, pray more.

This was all so good.

I cried  for help to my Heavenly Father. I am thankful that He is always near and He never leave me nor forsake me. I am so bless that I still have someone I can hold on to. He gave me great family, bubbly buddies and loving friends whom is always beside me. I am glad for having friends  who are so thoughtful and caring.
A great day to start a breakfast from a great buddy on my cube in the morning
Came with a sweet note that read like this

A small token of gift from the seller of masks I bought.. Count your blessing even if its a small one..
Another great buddy who went for holiday and bought me this .. <3 much

Let us count our blessing even though it may just be a small token of appreciation from people. You never know how much it could mean to others who is not that fortunate. Think of kids from the orphanage, people who need to worry about what to eat for dinner, people who have difficulties to walk.. When you think that you are not blessed, ponder again if you really are.. What you are going through, may not be the end of it. It will always be a brand new day and a brand new you.. Remember, you think what you think you are..

Think you are a pretty, YES you are.. Think you are rich, YES you are.. Think you are blessed, YES you are.. :-)
