Enjoying October...

Harlo... I am back after a long hiatus! Hope you do miss me.. Pretend to be even if you don't..LOL!!

Guess I've been indulging a lot earlier this month by looking at what I'll be sharing in this post! Haha

That's what we had at 'That Latte Place' the other week. Located inside Ikon Connaught at Kuala Lumpur - A cafe that I would still love to visit again!

Ordered my favourite cafe latte! The only coffee I would order. Maybe I am not a coffee person; so more milk is better! :-D

Tried 'The Burger Lab' at PJ!! When I was there, it was a long queue to make orders. You can assume how toothsome the burger can be! Yummy!!

Thanks to Mr.K for bringing me to these places for meals.

The first mandarin speaking church I've attended! Something fresh to me but it was awesome worshiping in Mandarin songs! :-D

Went over to visit Jonny again! Cut my mane at least three and a half inch shorter! Nice or not?? I love compliments! So you know what to say ya.. Hahaha!!

Attended wedding dinner of my ex-colleagues from VMD. Looks like we could only have gathering when someone from our group got married!
>.<

We-fie together!! We should hang out more often and not only gather on a wedding occasion. Lol!!

With the lovely couple who I've known for almost eight years!

And with 'my darling' who looked pretty that night.. Hehehe!

I even met my little friend at the wedding. Gabby looks so sweet that night and I can't resist to take a picture with her!

Till my next update, ciao!!

October please be good ya!! :-D

Say Hello to Goodbye...

Image from Google

Just a random title!! LOL!! Ops! Another late entry...

July is pretty awesome for me just that the media bombarded us with bitter and grief-stricken news, first was the MH17 news, then the ongoing armed conflicts that have sacrificed the civilian and death rate is still on the rise. Wondering if you ever care?!

If you are reading my blog right now, you are surely one of the many who are blessed to be living in some place on the earth that is somehow peaceful. So, blessed one, there's at least one thing we could do now...

Yes!! Let's pray together!
Trying to make you feel better with cute praying baby picture! LOL!

It has been an overindulgence month for me! Thanks to birthday celebrations and farewell dinner!!! <3

First was birthday celebration for Mr.K! We had at Sushi Tei. Super love the salmon and maguro! Yummy!!

Celebrated together with Bee Keng, Sebastian, and Sim...

Not only the five of us..It was more!! Mr.K was surely delighted that night! Haha!

The following week, had a birthday surprise for the birthday boy and turned out I received a surprise too!

Received a sweet sweet card and letter <3

And a bouquet of flowers too. Was my favourite white lilies with red and pink roses!

好sweet 吧?! 哈哈 :P

On another day, was Zoe's birthday and we went out for lunch with bunch of colleagues. As most of them keep eating and not into wefie, so just the three of us picture! LOL!!

And was also Li Huey and WS birthday! So we had dinner together and had a great time talking and update each other!

Big bowl ramen with close friends celebrating Huey birthday! <3 We must be so into Japanese meal!

Us-fie with twinnie gf! Hehe

Farewell dinner for CY at KNK Restaurant. The food was just toothsome. Will go back there for ramen and bimbibap!! Nom Nom Nom!!

Anyway, he must have been so proud to have seven ladies bidding him adieu. He is just leaving the current workplace for a better one this August.

All the best in your new pond! :-)

I ended July with scrumptious meal as well! It was on 31 July, we had birthday dinner for travel mate, MC. Super duper like the ambiance and services at Western Spices Green Hall.

The Garden Wedding...

of KK and LH.... That was six months ago! LOL!

Been taking a while to prepare this entry as was looking at those beautiful pictures and decide which one to post :-D

The garden wedding was in February and the overall concept is loved!

We were preparing ourselves for the exchange of vows and ring ceremony. All the girls were getting ready in the hotel room. From make-up, hair-do and changing into the dress, turning ourselves into lovely bridesmaids for our bestie! Hahaha!!

The bridesmaids

Parkroyal Hotel has such a beautiful garden view for wedding ceremony.

The Wedding

.... Not mine obviously.. LOL

If you missed the earlier post on Huey's Bachelorette Party, please read here :-)

The bride's bouquet for morning session

According to norm, the "ji muis' - brides best friends were suppose to plan some games on the 'heng dais' - grooms best friends before the husband could be with the wife on the wedding day itself. Of course, we don't plan them on the day itself but weeks earlier!! :P

Welcoming the groom and friends with our handmade cards

We went to Huey's place the night before her wedding to prepare some of the games so that we don't have to rush the next morning. Thanks to Nana for the printing and not forgetting the rest who came out with all the game plan. :-)

Mission Accomplished!

We made some 'healthy juice' for the guys. Celery with milk! But I guess it was too mild for them and one of us mentioned to add some wasabi into it. However, after some dilly-dally discussion, we went with the mild option! Why were we so nice to them?? LOL.. I got to know from one of the heng dai that the games were not that challenging.. Anyway, the most important thing - We had fun!!! Hmm  ..Am I trying to made us feel better?? LOL

Milk bottles for the "heng dai" :P :P

Sushi Time

I think this is the most hilarious part. We were suppose to apply some wasabi on the sushi but our 'sifu' came and said this - "Oh, why 'applying lotion' to the sushi? You gals were suppose to remove the filling and replaced it with wasabi!" Sorry guys... we were just following orders!! LOL!!

Bride, Nana and myself

The pretty bride is ready to selfie with us.

Huey and me

More selfie before the arrival of the groom and heng dais.

Bride with her parents.. So sweet!!

Briefing first so that we can coordinate better.. Haha

Exchange of corsage and flower band between 'heng dais and ji muis'

Game #1 ~ Welcoming the 'Heng Dais' ~

The first punishment 10 x push up (All the heng dais need to complete this task!! LOL)

Game #2 ~ Guess the Name

Kevin was suppose to find his wife's Chinese name. He had a hard time as he don't read mandarin that well. Haha... The ladies tried to surround him so that no one could guide him.

The Chinese character we prepared for Kevin!!

And he took out his wallet to search for Li Huey's name. He must have kept his wife Chinese name somewhere in his wallet.

Because Kevin searched for answers - as punishment, the heng dais will have to drink what we have prepared for them!! :P

They managed to finish it!! This group of heng dais were super supportive!!

Game #3

They have to eat the chocolate stick and remain 3cm. If the measurement is not accurate, they will be punished again!! Haha

It's not accurate! It's either longer or shorter that 3cm...

Here's the punishment!! Haha

And here's their expression after having the sushi roll! Haha

The mistress of ceremony told us it's time to allow the groom to meet the wife. So we have to stop! Otherwise, more games to carry on!! LOL

After taking 'ang pow' from the groom, we agreed to let Kevin have the key to the room where Li Huey was.

Yeah!!

Finally with the wife!

The tea ceremony

The gorgeous ji muis!!

The awesome heng dais!!
