Japanese Style!!

Do you always love Japanese fashion and make up tips? We always find those Japanese magazines in overseas section of bookstores but most were in Japanese or even interpreted in Mandarin. I bought some of it even though I don't read Japanese at all- and Mandarin, which I only read little of it. Having trouble to understand lots of it, I asked my sister or friends to interpret sometimes but its not going to work well as its troublesome :-(

I have been reading books and magazines since young and I always hope there will be Japanese magazines in English version. Sadly, I hardly see any of them even though my hope was like 10 years ago. They should know there are lots of readers out there who don't read Mandarin. After a long.......... wait, guess what?? TADAH......

Malaysian English Version of RAY
The content is almost similar with the Japanese and Mandarin version of RAY. It is packed with loads of interesting information ranging from beauty, style guide, health, fashion and make up. It cost RM 9 for such a great magazine. Great isn't it? Check it out some of the many pages in this magazine. LOVE!!

So detailed information with so many pretty and tempting pictures. Haha. How not to love? It has been a while since their first English publication and I bought every single month of it. This monthly magazines offer up-to-date information and you can just DIY almost anything at your own pace. I am following most of the Japanese way of make up, grooming, preparing healthy food and even massage lesson and it just makes me love myself even more. I even learned the hair removal tutorial and bought the epilator. Yeah!! We always say there are no ugly gals but only lazy ones. With this magazine, we will get better day by day - healthier, prettier and happier..

Yay...!!
The loads of pretty faces on the cover and even pretty boys.. Haha
AND there you go for another Japanese magazine that I love - also in English version, they are here in Malaysia now.. VIVI.. This is their first publication in English - 1st issue.

I Heart HongKong

I have been to Hong Kong twice back in 2008 and 2010. It was like I should be going back once every two years. Hehe.. Hopefully I could go back this year or next. I just like most of the things in HK - shopping haven ranging from clothing, beauty to  shoes, bags and even transportation and food. It may be a little expensive when it comes to food and accommodation but the rest is just too good to enjoy. I am loving it to the max.. XOXOXO..

I always love backpacking holidays or budget travel. We save more in accommodation and fare and in return we get to do shopping. Stay tune for Air Asia sale. You got to love them to the max. I am always travelling with AA and I just love their motto - Everyone can fly. With AA, we can always go to other continent without bursting our wallet. Look out for their promo this month.  It's AA 48 Hour Sale!! ALL IN FARE FROM RM 38. Yes.. You didn't see it wrongly. Sale starts from RM 38!!!  Yay!! Let's go travel..

My last trip to Hong Kong was awesome. I went with four of my buddies. We stayed in a guest house at Nathan Road. I spent only RM 200 for my 4 days trip for accommodation. Affordable right? ^_^ The room per night was RM 200 and we divided into four. Its actually good going with 2 or 4 friends. Talk about cost saving in accommodation..

I did some homework by planning the itinerary ahead before we reached Hong Kong. Made some tourist spot visit with some buddies who never been to HK and so after twice of going there, I have actually visited most of the place already. Happy.. We went to tourist attraction spot namely Repulse Bay, Stanley Market, The Peak, Ngong Ping Cable Car, Harbour Front Show and night life like Lam Kwai Fong, Soho, Ladies Market and the night market available. We even went to Cheung Sha Wan Road Fashion Street for cheap stuff. (I will share more of this soon)

We even went to Disneyland and Ocean Park for some childhood memories and took lots of pictures with Disney and Ocean characters. Even though we are old to enjoy this but who cares. As long as we love them still :-)

You are what you think you are..

I decided to share about how thoughts can influence us real much. When you think that you are nothing, you are really nothing. No one can look down on us except ourselves. We tend to have thoughts that is so negative that it could spoil our day and we ended up not doing anything productive.

I went through a very tiring week. Everything was not going smoothly and I was asking,"God, why me? Why giving me all sorts of trouble and problems to go through? There was a moment when I feel everything was just not right but I realize if I keep on letting negative thoughts wondering around my mind, things definitely not gonna be all right.

Read a tweet from @Saintly_Life saying, " Don't let negative pictures play on the movie screen of your mind. You own the remote control. All you have to do is change that channel."

It was good...

As I read on, this came again from @PrayInFaith - "Disappointment were not meant to destroy you. They were meant to strengthen you & give you fortitude to accomplish your God-given destiny.

One more - "You must stop talking about the problem and start talking about the solution.. start speaking words of victory."

Word of encouragement could be so powerful when we say at the right time and do it as we read on it. "Worrying is wasting energy on things you cant control . Leave everything in God's hand. Think less, pray more.

This was all so good.

I cried  for help to my Heavenly Father. I am thankful that He is always near and He never leave me nor forsake me. I am so bless that I still have someone I can hold on to. He gave me great family, bubbly buddies and loving friends whom is always beside me. I am glad for having friends  who are so thoughtful and caring.
A great day to start a breakfast from a great buddy on my cube in the morning
Came with a sweet note that read like this

A small token of gift from the seller of masks I bought.. Count your blessing even if its a small one..
Another great buddy who went for holiday and bought me this .. <3 much

Let us count our blessing even though it may just be a small token of appreciation from people. You never know how much it could mean to others who is not that fortunate. Think of kids from the orphanage, people who need to worry about what to eat for dinner, people who have difficulties to walk.. When you think that you are not blessed, ponder again if you really are.. What you are going through, may not be the end of it. It will always be a brand new day and a brand new you.. Remember, you think what you think you are..

Think you are a pretty, YES you are.. Think you are rich, YES you are.. Think you are blessed, YES you are.. :-)

PANASONIC Wet & Dry Epilator

I have seen various article on how epilator could help to give us silky smooth skin. I always use to shave or pluck my underarms. I find it not really clean to shave and time consuming to pluck. So epilator would be the best option for me to look for.

Look what I've got.. My new item!!!
"Electric epilators pull out hairs from the roots, so they grow back less frequently over time. For best results, use after bathing when skin is still most." - Dr. Katagiri. This was mentioned in Ray Magazine for Malaysia in June 2012 publication and that was another factor that made me decide to purchase this epilator.. Hehe

The back view and two of the AAA battery
The epilator that can be use on wet and dry is really quick, gentle and convenient. It has the pivot action head that hugs body contours with forward-backward action of sliding head. It could grasps roots and whisk away hairs.

The ES 2082 - AAA battery operated epilator comes with anti-slip plastic handle, skin protector and interchangeable underarm head. It is very suitable for underarms, bikini lines, arms and legs. However, I find it more comfortable to use them on my underarms. I tried on my legs and the ouch factor was intense. So better not use it on my legs. Haha

1. That's the body of the epilator
2. The Anti-Slip Plastic Handle to protect the epilator
3. Brush to clean the epilator
4.Skin protector that performs gentle epilation
5. Skin protector interchange underarm head

This is basically easy to use, easy to wash and easy to keep. You can even use them when you go travelling - without the need to pluck your hair using a tweezer which I feel its so time consuming and it really tired my neck. Now no more with epilator.

I have been using them for a while and its easy and fast. The epilating head sticks closely to the sunken portion of the armpits and remove hair with meticulous care. I just need a few stroke upwards and downwards and I am done. i realise that my hair doesn't grow back coarser too. That was like double or triple benefit of it. First, its fast. Second, its gentle. Third, it doesn't makes my hair coarse. AND its not too expensive. I bought it at SenQ for RM 109 only.

My friend went to Japan and got me this.. I am gonna try this and share soon.. Happy

LEADERS Aquaringer Skin Clinic Mask

I just came back from Singapore and look what I have got.. Its a mask - another one of my favorite item. I read the review from Xiaxue blog and wanted to try so badly but couldn't find it in Malaysia. I was so happy when I found it at Watson, Bugis.

I grabbed it the moment I saw it and was smiling all the way. Gonna tell you my experience of using this..^-^

This cost me $3.50. Superb happy when I have you

The most important thing I saw in the packaging. It wrote No Paraben, No Mineral Oil, No Silicon, No Artificial Pigment. Good news to those with sensitive skin!!We hardly see mask with mild ingredients like this. Great isn't it?

Excited.. Gonna try soon.. Hehe

I am choosing this mask that claims to provide intense & long lasting hydration, diminishes dead skin cells and promotes skin turnover. It has clean alps water that supply full moisture, basic energy for skin and it recover oil and moist balance. It also improves fine lines and recovers the whole skin elasticity with Adenosine, a wrinkle improvement ingredient.  Last but not least, it also has the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) that will keep healthy skin condition by soothing the dead skin cells.

How not to love it...

Edited picture.. Nice feeling while putting it on my face
Cant wait to see what the active ingredient that is the Alps Glacier Water gonna do to my skin. The packaging say it is recommended to use 2 to 3 times per week, 15 - 20 mins each time and suitable for daily use. So after today, gonna try other range as well. I am hoping we can get them in Malaysia soon..

Final picture before I remove my mask..
After 20 minutes, I removed the mask and the verdict : I like it very much as what promised in the packaging. It doesn't have the sticky feeling but I feel hydrate instead. My skin is flaky sometimes and now I feel smooth all over. I believe by not being lazy would help us to have better skin. So am gonna be persistent to use mask at least once or twice a week.

Remember to use them too.. You gonna be thankful for it..

Gonna blog more about the stuff I got from Singapore..

Hydration.. I want them ^_^

I always like something in pink and I find it sweet for ladies. Maybe it is not for ladies my age but it is still okay to have it right? :-)

I came across this brand ZA and it has been in the market for years. They had introduced the new PINK range and it really catches my attention the moment I knew they were there. So here it goes..

THE PINK Total Hydration Moist Foamy Cleanser

This is a smoothing cleansing foam that polishes the skin to form a clear complexion. It cleanses impurities while retaining vital moisture for clear skin. It also removes impurities and excess surface cells. Without much hesitation, I bought it at Guardian at an affordable price of RM 13+ and the price is after discount.

I tried it the moment I went home to feel the foamy wash. The outcome – I love it so much. It is not drying at all and I can feel the moisturizing sensation after washing. The best part is  the rich and creamy foam that gently covers my skin while cleansing. This is so nice.. It made me want to wash my face every time..

Great item for such a steal price!! YAY!!

Take a look at its ingredients. It has the main 4 - Selective Cleansing Agent, Prism Enhancer, Minerals and Vitamin E Derivative. It also claims dermatologist tested and its non-clogging to pores. This is great as the ingredient is not way too harsh for our skin. I have sensitive skin and I would need to take a look at the ingredients before purchasing.

I am washing my face now..

Look!!! I feel the snow-feel.. wow.. such a nice feeling.. I am loving it..

There's also another item that I love from ZA Total Hydration - Energy Mist with Vitamin B.   I am working in an air-condition area. Its kind of dry or lack of moisture by mid-day. I really need something to perk me up and this is what I've found..

This mist-type lotion instantly relieves dryness to restore skin's radiance. It really hydrates my skin leaving a pleasant green tea scent. How could you resist it when you really need to perk yourself up during mid-day in the office? All I need is just spray on my skin to replenish generous moisture. To those with greasy or shiny skin, you will feel pleasantly fresh and smooth with this mist.

This is priced at RM26.90 at 80ml. But I bought it at RM19 only. Happy!! I always look for sale to purchase.. Yippie..

..and ZA Total Hydration is for just so right for me and you gonna like it too ^-^

So what are you waiting for? Go get the easily available ZA Total Hydration at any departmental stores or anywhere in Malaysia.

The word said it all “HYDRATION”
