Love Came Down

If my heart is overwhelmed
And I cannot hear Your voice
I hold on to what is true
Though I cannot see

If the storms of the life they come
And the road ahead gets steep
I will lift these hands in faith
I will believe

I'll remind myself
Of all that You've done
And the life I have
Because of your son

(Chorus)
Love came down and rescued me
Love came down and set me free
I am Yours
Lord I'm forever Yours
Mountains high and valley low
I sing out and remind my soul
I am Yours
I am forever Yours

When my heart if filled with hope
Every promise comes my way
When I feel Your hands of grace
Rest upon me

Staying desperate for You, God
Staying humble at Your feet
I will lift these hands in praise
I will believe

I am Yours
I am Yours
All my days

Jesus, I am Yours
Yeah, I am yours, I'm yours, I am yours
Jesus I am yours

Decided to share this lovely song that reminds us of His promises to His children <3

Huey Bachelorette Party

An overdue post....and yessie.. I am back!! Hahaha

February has been a busy month. First, it was our church Chinese New Year special - choreographing dance for the little ones. Then, planning hens night for Huey, who used to be the bride-to-be but now Mrs. Koo. :-D

We wanted to do something sweet for our bestie. It took us approximately a month or less to prepare all these without Huey's knowing the details of it. She just knew we are throwing a party for her.

Prior to the event, we had a day out discussing the itinerary of the night - We need to get a place, decorate the place, plan games for the bride-to be, and we need food.. not forgetting Beauty Party!!

Thanks Nana for sponsoring us her place.. Muacks!!

We wanted some sweet stuff with pastel colors - our choice is PINK and WHITE. Poh Lee even found a shop that provides helium gas balloons. We agreed to bring in some of the heart shaped balloons. Nice isn't it?

We were suppose to have it in English theme but ended up in Mandarin instead. My bad for not bringing enough A4 size papers. We planned to decor it with papers instead of writing them onto the balloons. Anyway, we found another option. Thanks to some who is so creative at that time! Haha..

It wasn't an easy process setting this up. Someone forgot to bring the balloons pump and cause everyone to blow it manually. Yeah!! Saliva all over. You know who's the smart lady? Yeah!! It's me!! Thank you!! T_____________T

I remembered how you guys stared at me!! LOL

We only bought twelve helium balloons. While the rest non-helium, a few actually burst when we set them up. Thankfully we bought extra. Smart ladies yea!! :-D

That is Zoe's teddy bear that she bought to the apartment. Yeah!! We wanted pinky stuff!!

That's the decor we manage to do before Huey's arrival!

Bedroom need decor too!! Haha

The arrival of the bride-to be!

Food that we had on that night! Yummilicious!!

Huey, the pretty bride-to be and me!!!

Jessica and me!!

Zoe and me!!

Nana, Huey and me!!

Heavily edited picture of us!! Hahahaha!!

Huey, you wouldn't mind that I just mentioned bits of it.. :P .....

We actually had some games or I would say we made Huey did something funny!! But we shall keep those memories and pictures private! :-D

Many many selfie of us!!

Aside from camwhoring, we did some beauty stuff but were too lazy to picture it as we were all turned into pajamas ladies! Nana bought along her face spa and body spa and tried it on us. Pampered max!!

Before bed, we did some brainstorming on the games for Huey's wedding day! I guess its a trend for us Malaysian Chinese to have fun on the guys (buddies of groom) before the husband could meet his wife on the day itself.

Gonna share more of it soon. Maybe my next post on Kevin & Huey wedding! :-D It was a sweet wedding that I want to quote it as Best Wedding of the Year!! Yeah, even the year has not ended! LOL

Blessed Chinese New Year

I super love Chinese New Year and this year is extra-ordinary exciting. Although things were routinely the same - eating like one won't gain weight and relatives visitation but still the moments were different la. It's another brand new year what!! HAHA

In my new casual attire and feeling max comfortable. I love how Korean did their make up and I tried to do their natural almost nude make-up. LOL!!

With mummy dearest on our way to grandparents place.

Ate a lot during this Chinese New Year. This is our Chinese New Year eve reunion dinner. We didn't have steamboat at home this year but we get to eat them when we were at grandparents place. Thank you "yee yee" for the scrumptious meal back at home town. I didn't take any picture there.. Too hungry lo!! LOL

If you follow me at Instagram - maviszu. You definitely knew I had a new toy, Polaroid camera. Thanks to my dearest friend, I managed to capture nice pictures this season. <3 <3 <3

This is what I did to my room. Hang them and I can see them everyday! LOL

My "angpow" on Day One of Chinese New Year!! Hehe *Blessing**

Going to 'pai nian' now.. Till then, Buh Bye!! Happy Chinese New Year to all!! <3

Travelogue : Korea With Love, Jeju Island Part 2

Woke up at 3:00am local time, had homemade breakfast and made our way to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. Also known as 'Sunrise Peak', was formed through Hydro-volcanic eruptions. It was a volcanoes that were form by piles of volcanic ash, whereby the interaction of hot ascending magma and seawater or ground water about 5,000 years ago. This crater has a measurement of 180m tall, with a diameter of 600m and 90m high. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, Seongsan Ilchulbong looks like a gigantic crown. I sounded so pro with the explanation right? I actually googled the information. LOL!!

It was very dark when we went up the hill. Was suppose to pay for entrance fee of 2,000 Won but we went in for free as the ticketing counter is still closed. We met a few others - a Chinese couple from Shanghai and a few local Korean. Since it was so dark we barely see the steps, we walked and had some chat together.

Reached the top after 45 minutes of walk. Feeling exhausted and had to catch my breath. Haven't been on hill tracks for a while. I lost all the stamina. I look very tired as barely had enough rest the night before. Wrapped myself like a bun. The weather is superb cold but still major love ok!!

Seongsan Ilchulbong is so breathtaking! The sunrise from the crater is magnificent. Every time when I closed my eyes to reminisce my presence over this place, I can't even... I was feeling thankful being able to experience such a beautiful sight. Being able to witness with our own eyes, is was just awesome!!

The awesome view

Walking down the hill

After all the sightseeing, we were just so hungry and went looking around for food. I think it was me who bugged for food all the while. Travel mate is just normal! Why you guys don't feel as hungry as my level? That's made me gained weight after coming back from Korea. 2 kg for 11 days is shocking!!!

Anyway, it was a long journey to the restaurant for me (due to hunger) T____________T

We found you - Korean Coffee & Pizza & Beer

The menu is all in Korean (without picture) and the waitress only speaks Korean. So what do we do? Kakao Talk Ally to help? That's the best way.. And yea.. our pizza were ordered that way. Cool isn't it? LOL

Korean pizza is filled with lots of veges and nuts! Taste different back home but still good!

Had a good meal and chit-chat before we proceed for another beautiful wonders in Jeju Island.

Awww.... Nearly died seeing this!! Why you have to be so pretty!!!

This is Samgumburi Crater - another crater of an extinct volcano. This one exploded quickly as compared to the Seongsan Ilchulbong, but did not spew much lava nor did it form much of a surrounding cone. This is the only one of its kind in the country, making it the natural monument.

We can walk around the part of the rim but cannot venture down inside the crater. They have a well-paved path that leads us to the viewing area. At the park entrance are several large rocks from the crater. It was during the eruption, molten  rock flew from the volcano into the air and cooled into many exotic shapes.

Feeling extremely cold when we reached here. The hot coffee turned cold in minutes!

The other side of the view. You should visit Sangumburi Crater if you had the chance. The entrance fee is 3,000 won per adult.

Head to eMart after that. We felt a little warm and decide to take off our outer wear but Emily was super daring. She removed her legging. Salute her!! But in fact, Jeju Island is a little warmer compared to the rest of Korea cities.

Waiting for our sandwich to be served

Since we wanted to spend some time at the hostel, we went to eMart to buy some Korean snacks and tidbits. On our way, we stopped by to get some  yummy sandwiches.

We ordered Korean fried chicken and rice for dinner. We were too hungry and none of us actually took any picture of the food! Sorry couldn't share those delicious chicken we had! LOL!

Say "Annyeong" to Tamna. It belongs to the owner of the guesthouse we stayed. We were able to play with Tamna that evening before her bath time.

Tamna is kind of big in size and it likes licking and smelling. I tried not to stay too close from her as she gets real excited when she sees human. No, I am not afraid of doggie but Tamna is BIG!!! Not a toy dog ok.. T_____T

Emily loves doggie so much that she missed her "babies" back home. In fact, her babies are cuter cos not big.. LOL.. Anyway, Tamna likes to play with Emily. Thankfully, QQ and Goofy were not there. Else, jealous max! HAHA

Tamna can do stunt from the slides. It's a very clever doggie. We went to the nearby kindy where there's a playground in the school. Some of the kids were still around; so we had fun together with Tamna.

Aww... Cute kids in the house. How not to selca with them? Thanks MC for the pictures!

With the owner having some chit chat time and with Tamna after her bath time.

Gonna continue my last day at Jeju Island on the next post.  Stay tuned for more magnificent view and tempting-licious meal ^_^
